The M64 unit deployed in the terminal is a combined disinfection solution that features several layers of protection. Its main line of defense is the set of nozzles that atomize a disinfecting liquid into a fine mist. This process, known as dry fogging, ensures efficient distribution of the disinfectant on all surfaces without creating moisture or leaving residue. The solution used in the disinfection passage is hypochlorous acid – a food-grade, environmentally-friendly agent which is completely harmless to humans while deadly for most known viruses and bacteria, including SARS-CoV-2.
The unit is also equipped with measures like touch-free hand washing, contactless body temperature measurement, and face mask detection to encourage safe behavior and curb the spread of COVID-19. The entire procedure is fast and intuitive to minimize delays and ensure excellent experience.
The development of the disinfection passages was spearheaded by UEG, an exhibition and event producer, in collaboration with a talented group of engineers. UEG’s 30 years of experience of working with large audiences around the world allowed the creation of a technology that is suitable for large events and crowded settings with high throughput. Sani Pass is committed to bringing back to life all industries affected by the pandemic, including transportation, entertainment, hospitality, health, education, and retail.
